Siracha Sloppy Joes
Prep Time 10 minutes at least 30 minutes marination time

Feeds 4-6
- 700g beef strips (stir-fry cut)
- 1 bottle F.Whitlock Sriracha chilli marinade
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 red capsicum, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 310ml (1 1/4 cups) tomato passata
- 4 large soft hot dog bread rolls, warmed, split
- Sliced jalapenos, to serve
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Potato chips, to serve (optional)
- Marinate the beef strips with the Sriracha marinade set aside in the fridge for 30 mins.
- Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, capsicum and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until softened. Add the marinated beef strips and remaining marinade and cook, stirring, for 4 minutes or until the meat has browned.
- Stir in the passata—season to your liking. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, occasionally stirring, for 12 minutes or until thickened.
- Spoon the beef mixture among the rolls. Serve with jalapenos, shredded cheese and salad. Add the optional chips on the side
